E. M. BASBAY (1968)

Chief Executive Officer 

Holds a BSc degree in business administration from Bosphorus University in Istanbul. He began his career in 1992 as an auditor at Arthur Andersen worldwide and worked in Istanbul and Dubai offices. In 1997 he was a member of the founding team of Credit Europe Bank in Russia. In 1999 he joined the management team of Credit Europe Bank NV in the Netherlands and he took an active role in the expansion of the bank as CFO and member of the Managing Board. Mr. Basbay returned to Russia in 2005 as CEO. Under his leadership, the Russian subsidiary of Credit Europe Bank N.V. has grown substantially and now serves over 2 million customers from more than 90 branches and thousands of sales points. As of June 2010 Mr. Basbay has been appointed CEO of Credit Europe Bank N.V. Murat Basbay is married and he has one daughter.
 

T. C. BERIKER (1968)

Holds a BSc degree in management science from Bilkent University, Ankara. He began his career in 1992 as an Interbank AS management trainee in Istanbul, working successively in corporate credit marketing and private banking. Mr Beriker was a member of the founding team of Finansbank (Holland) N.V. in 1994 and oversaw the setting up of Finansbank Holland’s Germany operations in 1998 with an emphasis on retail banking. He returned to Amsterdam in 2000 to join the Managing Board of the Bank. From July 2001 -June 2010, he was as Chief Executive Officer responsible for corporate banking, internal audit, treasury and public relations.
 

Y. TAYFUN
(1966)

Chief Credit and Risk Officer 

Joined CEB NV in May 2006. Prior to his appointment to the Managing Board on January 1, 2008, he was Head of the Corporate Credits Division at CEB NV. Before joining CEB NV, he was Head of Risk Management at The Economy Bank N.V., where he was responsible for credit and market risk. He worked for 15 years at T. Garanti Bankasi AS and GarantiBank International N.V., as Credit Officer and Head of Corporate Credits. He is responsible for credit and operational risk management (Pillar I plus concentration risk), compliance and legal.

H. ARMAN
(1966)

Global Head of Trade and Commodity Finance

Holds an MBA in Finance at Bentley College in Boston, Massachusetts as well as a BS degree in civil engineering from Technical University of Istanbul. He worked for Citibank as well as for Midland Bank before joining Credit Europe Bank in Geneva, Switzerland in 1995. He became Head of the Credit Marketing Department in 1997. In mid 2000, Mr. Arman moved to the Frankfurt branch of Credit Europe Bank, serving as Head of Corporate Banking and as Country Manager for the German operations of the Bank. End of year 2002, he started in Amsterdam, heading the Corporate Credits department and, after that, the Corporate Banking department until he was appointed in the Managing Board in 2009. In this position Mr Arman has a group wide responsibility for Trade and Commodity Finance.
