Credit Europe Bank N.V. Malta Branch’s participation at AMITEX Fair

Between 24th and 30th the April, Credit Europe Bank N.V. Malta Branch took part in the AMITEX Fair at the Malta & Fairs Convention Centre, held at Ta’ Qali. AMITEX is the main Travel Fair, which is held annually in Malta. The aim of the Bank’s presence at this Fair was to create awareness about the bank, which only launched its retail services in January 2008. Hundreds of people visited the Fair and this was a great opportunity for the bank’s representatives, who were at the stand to meet new and prospective clients and explain in person about Credit Europe Bank and its retail products.  An attractive stand was set up in a very strategic location at the Fair Ground. The main attraction was the backdrop of the stand that emphasised the Interest Rates the Bank is offering, being the most competitive rates on Savings and Time Deposits in the Maltese Islands.  Our representatives explained how the Bank has brought over these interest rates, which until now were only available in mainland Europe.  They also gave details about the protection offered to depositors by the Dutch Central Bank Deposit Guarantee System.
Overall, there was a very encouraging response from the stand’s visitors. Our team was able to make new leads and contacted these people, many of whom subsequently followed up their interest by opening accounts at Credit Europe. 
After such a positive and encouraging start, the Bank plans to participate in other Fairs and similar events in the coming months.
